Try copying over the Office 2011 folder from the old machine. Then copy over the MS folder in the /library/application support folder and see if that fixes the issue for you. It may be different than my plist, because I've got an enterprise/vlk version. If you did a simple HD clone nothing should reset. Most Pro apps will even continue to work if you just do a full clone from one HD to another (now moving into another machine can be a problem since some apps use the Apple serial number/MAC address as part of the licensing).
