Get skype for mac os x. I was a huge cannon fan but as the last 3 of my cannon's died leaving me with excess ink I couldn't use I made the switch to laser printers in our house.I've got a very cheap HP 1020 that I got on a clearance bundle with 3 toners (when they run out I won't buy any more of them because the resolution is a little too low for my taste), a brother 7840w AIO (B&W) and a brother 4570CDW (color) = they are all great units and I'll be keeping the brother units running as long as I can. If your super set on just an ink printer, I'd look at something from HP that uses the H02 ink series, you can get the ink affordable and HP hasn't changed the ink cartridges in many years (I believe its been more than 10 at this point) so that should give you some stability in terms of HP keeping the series of ink cartridges going longer. Good luck with your decision!
