I am a self-confessed full coverage foundation junkie. Before, I used to think it was because I wanted to hide my blemishes or facial marks but even in my “good skin” days, I still find myself caking on my foundation. Even when sometimes I try to do a more “natural” make-up look, I still end up looking so made up and ready to snatch! I LIKE IT THOUGH. To my readers who like their full coverage foundation as well, this is for you! First, I start off with a primer.

After prepping my skin, I start of with my trustee Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser. This one is a goody! I usually just put the primer on areas that I have large visible pores (Not all of us are born like Jennifer Lopez, and that’s okay!) which is my T-zone area. I rub the primer in clockwise and counter-clockwise circular motions.

I believe this gives me better results in hiding my pores. Second, I then proceed with my foundation. I use the L’oreal Paris Infallible 24H Stay Fresh Foundation.

I’m in the shade 120 Vanilla, if you’re curious! THIS IS MY OG FOUNDATION. I live in a tropical country which makes me really sweaty and oily throughout the day but this foundation comes thru!

Haven’t tried wearing it for full 24 hours but I have experienced wearing this for a solid 12 hours. And, I must say that the lasting power of this foundation is really exceptional. It comes off as a good medium coverage but you can build it up to your desired coverage and it still blends as nicely on your face. Again, if you’re looking for a foundation that won’t break your bank but will still give you a gorgeous finish and a full coverage, this is for you! Third, I proceed to applying my concealer.

I use the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Concealer to hide away any imperfections on my face. Paintbrush tool in word for mac. This is my favorite drugstore concealer! I use the shade Fair for my under eyes. It has enough coverage not only to cover my dark circles but to brighten up my under eyes as well! I also use it to conceal my blemishes or marks from past wars (aka that time of the month where my skin flares out the most) and mix the shades Light and Medium to achieve the perfect shade for me.

Mplayerx for mac. This is one of the few drugstore concealers out there that doesn’t break me out! And lastly, I set my face with a powder. I use a pressed powder from Australis to set my face that will still give me more coverage.

(You really cannot have enough) It’s called the Australis Fresh & Flawless Pressed Powder and I’m in the shade Light Beige. This is a good dupe for the MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation. Again, I repeat, the much loved MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation!

For a fraction of the MAC Studio Fix’s price, this gives you almost the same coverage and feel. On days where I try to lay low on my liquid foundation, this keeps me a bit less guilty towards my full coverage obsessed self cos it still gives me that full coverage look that I love.
