Qvr Client For Mac

Hi, Does anyone else use the QVR Client app on Mac OS X? I currently have two cameras and only get 1-1.5fps per camera on the live view which is really poor and choppy. To see if it was related to my setup I tried the following: - Wireless and wired connection is the same.

- On VMobile iOS app I get > 10fps - Using the camera manufacturers software on the Mac I get > 10fps - Using the camera manufacturers iOS app I get > 10fps - Viewing recorded video in QVR Client seems much better. My setup is: TS-453 Pro 1GB 4x2TB WD Reds Firmware 4.2.0 Build 2015118 Mac OS X 10.11 QVR Client 2.1.3 Hikvision 2543 and 2335.

Cameras setup at 3mbps 20fps recording. I can't any settings within QVR Client that might cause this. Anyone have similar problems? It all depends on what setting you have settup on the NVR side as Vmobile and QVR connect to the cameras via de NVR of your Qnap (survailance station). The app connects directly to your camera and not the NVR.

IP Camera Tool MJPEG cameras marked 'M' behind LAN IP,H.264 cameras marked 'H' behind LAN IP. For MJPEG cameras and H.264 cameras, used to search camera's LAN IP automatically.

Thanks the info. But if the Vmobile live view is ok on my iPad at the same location as my iMac using the same wifi surely the QVR Client fps should be similar? Buts its not, its really poor. Just a quick note, cause last night after work i checked my QVR on my main macbook and it was working fine, then I check my older Macbook Air and found that i did show a bit more 'skiping' in the video. I noticed that QVR eats up about 7 - 8 MBps, so that would explain my Macbook Air, since it is conected to my WIFI via 2.4 Ghz 802.11G, while my Pro is coneced via my 5.2Ghz network with 802.11N, thus the later has a much wider channel to work with. Might be that QVR is simple less efficient then Vmobile and so it requieres a greater badwdth to work properly? Rop wrote:I use the QVR client for Mac have 3 FOSCAM´s and a Hootoo outdoor camera.
