Well, Firefox 60.1 fixed the GPU Hardware Acceleration Glitch that i got again with Firefox 60. I had this Glitch when Firefox 58.0 was released, and Firefox 58.0.1 fixed it. Here is my comment on Martin’s Firefox 58.0.1 article about this glitch – My questions is, Mozilla has to know of this glitch, and if so, why is it never mentioned in the Patch Notes in Firefox 60.1 or Firefox 58.0.1? And does anybody know of a Bug Tracker for this issue? I would think there is one but i can’t find it. I’ve searched Firefox GPU Hardware Acceleration and read many posts and articles but can’t find a bug tracker.
I just don’t want to have to keep dealing with this issue over time with New Firefox Releases. Thank anyone in advance. The update rendered my Firefox crippled. I can’t browse the Internet with it at all.
I lost tabs I was researching stuff, I couldn’t bookmark them, nor could I see their url’s, and the Reload was grayed out. I couldn’t access Add-Ons or Preferences at first and there was no Stop available on them. I submitted many bug reports after some Firefox updates and upgrades, but the problem persists even in the Safe Mode. My WiFi works just fine, I did ping many sites; my terminal connects just fine; and the Firefox bug reports are submitted as well.
